I am Ruthie Segal, Hear Me Roar
I co-wrote this short musical comedy film about a fantasy bat mitzvah. The screenplay won the 2009 UK Jewish Film Festival short award. The film has been screened in London and Toronto.

I was a writer-in-residence at the Women’s Art Library (at Goldsmiths University) where I wrote this comic parody of a feminist debate starring figures from the art world and academia. An adaptation was published in ‘The Moon’ to accompany the Tate performance event ‘Once More With Feeling.’
My absurd comedy about psychiatrists was staged in London, Edinburgh and Australia, and was called: ‘glorious madness… a madcap writer’ – The Scotsman; ‘exciting… well-crafted… a hilariously funny romp’ – The Edinburgh Guide.
I worked as a script-writing consultant for the National Film Board of Canada on this animated short.
